the crow queen isn't a crow
she is born of crow
and shows the crows mercy
but isn't crow
she is somewhere between the lines of magic and human
a power bestowed upon her unrightfully.
it's something that doesn't belong to her
this power she possesses is evil
the crows are maniacs
they chew up her skin and cut her hands for fun
and she just sits there and lets it happen
they realized she wont fight back
but one day
when she does
there will be nothing but heat
sarcastic jabs and quippy lines
I hope you know I usually don't mean it
and I know my best is not enough
but that's what being human is all about
I don't have to worry about perfection
I will overcome compulsions
like shifting shadows moving across walls and space
I constantly reflect everything and everyone
daydreamers like to envision a new world
one where every cog in the machine does its job
we get tired of being the mirror
I go to therapy and dish it all out
Everything that's too personal to tell my sister,
Everything that's too serious to tell my Mother,
I dish it all out
