Crow and I went far today
To the very edge of the forest
and I showed him my magic
this is why I am in love with Crow
he was intrigued by my gifts
and he wasn't afraid of my powers like the rest
is it warped to be in love with a crow?
maybe I'm just lonely.
a time, there was a girl who adored space. She read pages upon pages of books about constellations and the stars, memorizing names and how many miles away they were from earth.
I feel like I'm imposing

subjugated to solitude eternal,
only perceiving and watching love,
maybe receiving it but never understanding it
never internalizing it
it bounces off. Doesn't stick,
unkept and unruly and unclean.
