Dream song

An obsidian stallion gallops over hills of jade,
crying sapphire tears.
A lunar eclipse in a lavender sky
Enchanted forest with wisps of mist 
drifting inside a solarium
Sparks ignite a flame that creates stars,
which are actually fireflies on a summer night
A violin plays from the valley,
its tune carried over mountain tops peaked with snow
Playful, haunting, beautiful- a lullaby 
Zoom in on a toddler, skipping through the trees, her eyes wide with wonder
Eyes open to see a darkened room
and I want to return to the fantasy.
