"Pen, please," I asked and I lifted the pen between my fingers as if it was moving on its own.
But in my head, my friend named Natalie lifted the pen and passed it to me. 

We were about to leave,
but there was a bit of a problem.

"Come on," I said. "We have to go!"
We were sitting in the car. The engine running.
The trunk packed. 

I peered behind myself for a second, eyeing Sebastian. Was it now that I was seeing him in his casual attire?

I recalled that same day... replaying in my head, it being a roller coaster with a line of never ending customers. When the ride finished, only a couple seconds apart, it would be put into motion again—from the beginning.

2200 A.D

So you see, there’s this thing called Earth.

Is it a food?

What? No, no, it’s a planet. In the Milky Way. It’s where I live. 

That is hundreds of galaxies away. Why are you out here?

In his peripheral vision, he had spotted the woman that conquered his dreams more than once and he allowed his gaze to follow her path. She carried herself in an enthusiastic way. She sways side to side in her fancy magenta-colored dress.

He checked the time, and it read 6:36 PM.

With her first day at the school, she slid open to door to a completely silent classroom. Some students were sleeping and some were writing and some just looked as if they were in another world.

I’m a winner. Some might even say that I’m the best. I win at everything and I always give my all. I get higher grades than my friends, I get chosen to attend leadership conferences, I do what I can to help my soccer team win - and we usually do.

He was stunned. The whole occurrence was of pure contradictory. He was sent to assassinate Claire Reid Marie-Winston and instead the tables had turned significantly. As he held his hands up, bearing his forearms, he chortled in disdain.

I gathered all the patience I had set aside, for moments like these and waited for the sun to descend, bringing forth its dark hypnotizing color.
