From the fire comes The Phoenix

From the fire comes the phoenix,

Burning bright.

She soars into the night sky,

What a sight.

But the wind blows her down, down, down,

And she hits the ground.

Yet as she burns to ashes,

She rises up again.

She is fierce,

She is strong,

A message to all men.

No more wind,

No more weapons,

Will never knock her down.

She is strong,

She is fierce,

And her true courage is found.

From the fire comes the phoenix,

Burning bright.

From the fire comes the phoenix,

With all her might.

  • Can't we love?

Why can’t we all just love each other?

Why does there have to be so much hate?

Can we ever learn to trust and accept those who are not like us or believe different things?

  • If only I could

If only I could stop doubting myself,

If only I could stop being afraid,

If only I could be happier instead of secret depression,

If only I could get better, and peace would stay,
