Frantic Class

Tik Tik Tik Tik:

never stopping angry quiet

Tok Tok Tok Tok:

ink on paper nonsense words

Tik Tik Tik Tik:

lips are moving saying nothing

Tok Tok Tok Tok:

brains all scrambled on the wall.

One Two Three Four:

numbers passing yelling sighing

Five Six Se Ven:

sighing shoes on breathing floors

Nine And A Half we:

choke on smoke through locker doors.

The sink is running, so you can’t

    Hear your own heavy breathing.

    There was a baby born
