Her Hope

She’s little

Not even 8

But she has hope

Hope that shines

Through her blue eyes

Hope that dances

Across her face

Just like how she

Dances in the rain

Listening to Taylor Swift

Not a care in the world

She hopes

For things she doesn’t quite

Understand

But she knows

Things need to be better

Her hope

Is like a hug

Warm

Steady

Something to keep me

Hoping

Her hope

Is shiny and sparkly

Like her plastic crown

That she wears

When she’s the princess

Of unicorn world

Her hope

Is beautiful

  • Blind Justice

    Close your eyes

    Spin around

    And point

    Choose the felon

    Choose the victim

    Watch the tears fall

    In joy

    Gratefullness

    Or

    In sadness

    Pain

    Shrug

    Because to you

  • Do It For Her

If you can't do it for yourself

    Then do it for her

    Do it for the girl

    With big ideas

    And even bigger dreams

The girl who would try to count the stars

But then sigh and say there was a lot

  • ABC Heart poem

I'm not sure how I feel about this poem, I don't think it's really good but I really wanted to participate in this challenge. :)

    All times my heart has
