you hate the way i turn off your light when you focus

or continually walk by your room until you notice

i hate the way you’re so selfish 

like when you make your own dinner and not mine

you hate when you ask for some chips

and i give you just a crumb

i hate when i ask you for a pen

and you give me one with no ink

but just remember 

that i'm your sister

i will give you my last cup of clean water

and still ask if you want me to purify the oceans

i will give you my clothes if you're cold

and still ask if you want my skin
