I reflect on what I'm thankful for
I may be thankful for my mom or dad
These are things for I am glad
To be thankful is to give a gift
Show your appreciation
I may be thankful for lots of grit
For my heart and determination

"Did you do this, yet?",
"Did you take these notes?",
I sit on this bench
The bench that called to me
I do sit on this bench
But what do I see?
For first, there is a bee
It goes buzzing by
I wish I could fly like that
I'd fly way up high
People have rights
And I am a person
To say my requests
Is my burden
I see people complaining
Hurting and shaming
I think we should be better
Since it's now sweater-weather
