I do not understand

I do not understand how some people choose to live in ignorance of the world around them

Ignorance is not bliss

It is deciding that you do not care to know about the struggles of others

Just because something does not affect you personally, does not mean that it does not matter

I do not understand how people do not want change simply for the people who ARE being personally affected

Or just because they believe that change is important

Please be aware of the goings on of our country and world. 

Change can only happen if there is awareness first.
