We broke international law.
Gone are the rules for countries to follow in accordance to each other.
For if we didn’t, why shouldn’t they?
Breaking it is wrong.
Our country is a criminal now.
What does that make us?

Honesty can be a cool breeze, or the blade of a knife cutting into your skin.
It can lift you up or it can pull you down.
Honesty is usually meant in the best of intentions.
But sometimes it still hurts.

A small apartment.
Peeling wallpaper.
One window.
Hair in a messy ponytail.
Typing on a computer.
Bags under my eyes.
Plants on the windowsill.
