Hi! I'm not exactly sure who I am writing to, but it seems right to say hi. My name is Astrid, and I'll get right to the point. I don't have many-sorry-any friends, most likely because (as my parents told me) I am too eager and clingy when I try. So here I am, writing to an inanimate object as my only friend. Anyway, sorry for the sad story. This time, I have a plan to make a real friend! There's this girl, Fern. She seems to have lots of good ideas, but she doesn't want to share them with anybody. Often, I see her with a green notebook. My plan is to write messages in her notebook, then I'll give her this book so she can write in mine! Ooh! Here we go!
