Rather than walk alone, Life took Death in hand
Took Death to its side and said,
Friend, let us breach the divide
And Be one self,
Be one great thing in the vastness of all things
Rather than walk alone, Life took Death in hand
Took Death to its side and said,
Friend, let us breach the divide
And Be one self,
Be one great thing in the vastness of all things
“Tho’ Nature, red in tooth and claw / With ravine, shriek’d against / his creed—” - Lord Alfred Tennyson
Yes, you are a Man!
You, sir, are no beast, so
Ce n’est pas ton nom qui flotte dans les airs,
ni tes mains tremblantes comme un rayon éclair,
ni l’arbre qui pend au-dessus de ton visage,
ce n’est pas le soleil, ni les ombrages
This morning, I am looking through this window
of the second floor of this lovely little house
and inside I see this person dancing
and breathing a joyed word to the Sun.
