Snow is the closest thing Earth has to magic.
Lift your face to the sky
Feel the soft, chilly flakes
melt on your tongue,
float on your eye lashes,
bring color to your cheeks.
Nothing can change your world the way snow can.
Snow turns the whole world white.
Untouched and perfect.
A completely even layer of white fluff.
You step in it and everything is ruined.
But at least you had fun.
And when you find even the smallest patch that your feet missed,
it's like another slice of magic.
