Magnificent Sunset

She was standing on the edge of the canyon,

She thought deeply while feeling the wind crawl up the walls and flow through her hair,

She thought about her trip to get here,

She thought about all her rights and wrongs,

She thought about her whole life in one moment, 

She felt a cold tear roll down her cheek to her chin, 

She saw the last bit of light in the sunset reflecting off her cheek,

She felt so many emotions at once,

She felt at peace,

She felt beautiful,

She felt as warm as the very sunset she was looking at,

She had never seen anything so magnificent in her life.
