More Fish in the Sea

More fish in the sea

Is all I see

But why can't they just live freely

And happily?

They wouldn't understand

The way they have had to mend

To become a friend

In the end of it all

I don't want to catch another fish

Can't help the itch

I wonder if I could stitch

The wound inside me

They don't judge it at all

When wedding bells ring

All they see

Is a woman and the man

If there were more fish in the sea, would he be a different man?

Would she be a different woman?

Who would wear the suit and the dress?

What'll happen if they didn't wear anything at all?

I won't fret

Just lay your head

On this white veil

You can't see past

Wondering fast

How I could I wonder

Why their love isn't illegal?

"It's normal," one would say

But if love was different

And there wasn't a hit-list

Would we be able to be the fish in the sea?

Living freely

Without the judgment?

More fish in the sea

Is all they can see

But when you look beneath

That's where they hide

So when they come out

You'll wonder

What they see

In their sea

Swimming around

  • We're Already Dead

    Everybody fears death

    Until they’re already dead

Left for the people who hunt the weak and support the strong

    Am I wrong?

    I’ve heard it all before

  • Your Blue Eyes

If your eyes were the ocean, I'd swim in them.

If they were the sky, I'd fly in them.

Collecting crystals as blue as your eyes,

I wonder what I could see inside?
