normality.

normality?
what is that?
asks my mismatched socks
and two left feet
i've never heard of such a thing
says the nonesense in my brain
well i'm certain it's just rubish
yes compleate scrub buckets
my lack of rationality chimes in
it must be a rather unpleasnt thing
that makes you feel the need to look like everybody else
to walk and talk
like they do themselves
to breathe air with the same stupid expresion
to look like you hate the thing that your doing
to gain the attention
of people who don't actually care about you
who only want to know what new silly thing you will do
it might be contagious! quik cover your mouth
close your eyes
you don't want normality
to get inside.

  • The Boxes In The Corner

    Looming over your shoulders

Each stack higher than its former

    Every thought and every scrap

Of an idea too scared to ponder

    Every moment that hurt

    Each minute that lingered longer

  • Inadequacy

How do I push the words out
    From behind my taffy tongue
    Thick with salty tears
    And full of grubby thumb

    I’m a child
    Pretending that I’m numb
    To escape the overwhelming feelings

  • Paper Frogs

    Why

When feet fall soft but quick

    Does the hallway extend

And the hot breath of whoever’s behind me feel hotter

Why do I stay pressed to the wall

    Like a stubborn gruby sticker
