The Old House

I love going wandering in the woods. One day, I found myself getting lost. Usually when this happens I get my compass and head north. But that day I left it at home, at least I remembered my journal in my satchel. So after some quick thinking I decided to just keep walking in one direction. Luckily I found a dirt road, after looking left it was apparent that it was a dead end, so I followed the dirt road to the right. After taking a sharp left turn I saw an old abandoned building. It looked to be 3-4 stories high, it was withered but somehow still welcoming. Another weird trait was there were mushrooms all over it. After looking around the parking lot there was only one road out and it was the one I had just come from, the dead end.  The sun was going down and I needed to find shelter from the cold and dark. This house -that was more like a mansion- would be perfect. It would not be hard to find a safe room and set up there for the night. From the outside it looked very old and by no surprise it looked old on the inside as well. The bottom floor was pretty opened spaced. I only needed a room to stay in. The stairs to the other floors looked sketchy at best. Luckily the basement stairs were pretty intact. So I went down the stairs. It was much different than upstairs, it was small, and there was wind coming from somewhere.   “What? How?” I thought as I looked for the source of the wind. Then I found a door.  I couldn't see it because some boxes were covering it. There was a noise from behind the door. I opened the door and it felt like there was a tornado. Something was trying to suck me inside it. I was holding on to the door frame, but I was too weak and it was too strong. It pulled me in, and I woke up here. So far I can't find any portal out of here. This place is filled with giant mushrooms and lush plants. I would describe how I got here a little bit more, but I hear something coming so I have to hurry. So far though I've been here for 3 days. This is my first journal entry, good luck to me.
