Ombré Effect

Cycle of life,
Ombré effect
Repeat till a gradual change.

When the blinds are closed
Is it raining? Nothing but my still life remains.
Clouded skies
Overbearing heat
Outside the window frames.

I haven't moved in two/three days
Molded to shape of foam
Sunken comfort, screened out eyes
No foot or eye outside the home.

When I leave I'll be renewed,
A newborn woman with wind in my hair
Sun in my eyes as the birds caw and coo
Allowing systems to somehow be fair.

All to say I won't leave my house until my head rocks limp on my shoulder.
It's all the same until the change from the overbearing heat to colder
Life is an ombré effect, you won't see it until you remember
Just let it be as I sit and see cooped in my molded bed of slumber

  • Delphinus

My eyes spread wide and I finally see
The stars aligned as they're meant to be

Oh young Delphinus soar in your ocean of black
A creature of spirit in our minds
Followed by galaxies and stars have you tracked
  • The room I never Loved

    For the first time,
I walk into the room I never loved.
I will never make it.. right?
My hair cut down to my unfit jawline
and my eyes half shut forever.

I placed my hand down on the rug,
    fingers spread in promise
