If you were a mile tall, your bed would sit upon a cloud.
In a baseball game, Mount Everest would be the pitcher's mound.
You would use a pool as your drinking cup.
Your campfire would be a volcano that just happened to erupt.
You would bathe yourself in Lake Champlain.
And your toy would be a full-sized plane!
If you were just one mile tall.
If you were a mile tall, the Megalodon shark would be your pet goldfish.
It would take a very large well just to make a small wish.
Two trains would be your roller skates.
And not one human would mind if you were late.
You know, just in case.
If you were a mile tall, a gigantic ditch would be your toilet.
You would use a whole hospital as your first aid kit.
You would eat 1,000 pounds of fruit a day.
And drink 200 gallons of Kool-Aid.
If you were just one mile tall.
If you were a mile tall, there would not be enough food left for all.
People would pay to get a ride on your finger.
While others would probably just choose to linger.
However, if I were to be one mile tall… well, perhaps I would try not to be like anyone else at all.
After all, you can’t possibly be one mile tall.
