Poetry practice: Rainbow Summer

Red cardinals flutter, a vibrant spry

The rosy petals of a blooming rose

A wildfire dances the sky

Crimson strawberries sundry groves

Monarchs float amidst the stream

lambent marigolds within our reach

Golden rays of sunlight glisten and gleam

The juicy flesh of a ripe peach

Daffodils dance in the breeze
Golden cornfields stretch far and wide
Lazy bees hum amid the trees
Season of the Sticks long since died

Green leaves rustle in the gentle wind
The deep hue of a ripe avocado
Vibrant meadow where grasses hinde
Lush ferns in hidden grotto

Sapphires hidden beneath the sea
Blue skies stretch endlessly above
A morpho fluttering free
A tranquil lake where waters dove

lavender fields in bloom
Petals chase away the gloom
Royal robe of blackberry drum
Indigo hues of a long sum

In the summer season, colors come alive
Rainbow hues in nature thrive
From red to violet, the world is bright
In the golden glow of summer's light.
