Spring Showers

The sharp ringing

of birds singing 

that settles the fields

on storms bringing

the clouds hover

and the critters take cover

and with silence brings

the smell of spring's

showers

feeding the flowers 

and nature's tranquility

hear my plea 

to keep the showers
