Switched

I was waiting outside of my school's main doors ready for the school day to start. At last kids start flocking the doors and I follow suit. As I walk through the door I feel a peculiar sensation, as if I am lifting up and out of my body, leaving this earth behind. . .

For the longest while I can't remember seeing anything but an empty void around me and the feeling of moving extremely fast. When I came to I saw a field of corn. Hmm that's odd I thought to myself. How did I get here?  I got up and had a look around me. Nothing but corn for miles and miles.

"Who are you?!" A voice behind me asked. . . .

It shrouds my difference from the world.

So that I can seem normal.

    So I can fit in.

So that nobody can pick on me about it.
