A Tyrant in a Ruler's Suit

you are a petty man.

not a leader,

merely a tyrant.

no worry for

the whiteless.

no concern for

the non-cisgender.

money.

power.

greed.

hunger.

make america

bow down and

kiss your swollen,

lazy feet.

fear equals respect.

if they do not fear you,

convince them to join you.

remove diversity.

discard original thought.

you’ve made a cult.

a congregation of

the mutually conceited

and blind.

how long can you

keep it all going?

the raids of a

culture you disrespect?

the revoking of basic

civil liberties?

thirty four felonies.

i wonder if you

keep score.

over twenty eight

women you’ve touched

without approval.

are you proud?

are you free of guilt?

money cannot hide

the thing you are.
