Vertigo

Body nested in the damp grass,
the sky gazes over my skin.
Feet pulled by the still stars
while the earth keeps racing.

I'm weightless —
my skull empties.
The knots inside my bones release —
an endless fall.

I gaze back.
I was never flying.
The constellations drip
on the grass.

    inside your shell.

    Your skin splits —
