Watch faces

I talked with this third grader on the bus

she asked to see my watch face. 

I showed her and said, 

"this is me and my boyfriend at a concert we played

at the Flynn"

are you still in love?

she asked

"Yeah"

wanna see mine?

"Okay"

her Apple watch displays a leprechaun watch face.

Her Memojis are her family and Santa Claus.

She's tainted by the world of technology and it's going to spoil

this innocent kid

let kids be kids.

If a girl is young enough to have a leprechaun as her watch face,

she's too young to have the watch.

Kids shouldn't have phones or similar devices on them constantly.

It creates unhappiness -

and they're just

too

young.
