Isn't it interesting,
how so many things
simply work?
How so many things
seem to fit in place
flawlessly?
We walk through streets,
through halls,
through open doors,
and we don't bump
into a thing.
We drive cars,
ride bikes,
in a system that is
so perfect.
Was it always
so perfect?
Were there times
when people wouldn't
know to wait in line
at a coffee shop?
Were there times
when cars wouldn't
know to stop as
the light turns red?
Were there times
when musicians wouldn't
know to stop playing during a rest?
I have so many
questions,
dying questions,
about the time before ours,
but the possibilities are great.
There must be so much
to learn about what
came before us.
