They say the eyes
Are the windows to the soul
Stained glass
Of brown and green and blue
I look into her eyes
The eyes that match the color
Of the sky that fills your memory
I look into her windows to the soul
And I see
Her kindness wrapped up
In butterflies and ladybugs
Her honesty
Floating in the lake
I see her loyalty
On the peaks of the mountains
Her bravery
Sparkled across the sky
I look into her windows
That look like the ocean
You jumped in as a little kid
And I see her soul
Her soul that is so beautiful
It resembles the sky
And the animals
And the mountains
I look into her blue stained glass windows
The same ones that wake me up
Every morning
And look into my windows
As we stare at each other
Until we close the blinds
And break into giggles
I look into her eyes
Through her windows
And I see a landscape
That embodies her
In butterflies
And starry skies
With little laughs
Floating on the wind
And love pouring out
Of each water fall
Into her pond of loyalty
I look into her windows
And I see her soul
