Pain

Just because you never see me cry,
Or break
Or snap
Or fall

It doesn't mean I'm strong
It just means I can hide my pain
Even if I have to lie

Just  because I always seem
To joke around
And make fun of myself

It doesn't mean I'm trying to make you laugh
It just means I know how to put up a facade
And fake who you think I am

And if you have to ask why
I always try to hide
Id just bide my time
And wait for the tide to settle

Just because you never see my pain
But you see me
Laugh
And, smile.

It doesn't mean I have strength
It just means that I can run away
As strength isn't how you hide

But sometimes,
Even those that hide in the night
End up writing at dawn

That it was just at dusk
When they broke down
And treated it like a task.

There are two ends in this world.
Those that show their pain
And let it flow through

Then there is the other end-
Those that hide their pain
And eventually
Let a wildfire loose

So I ask you, fellow warrior.
Which path did you choose?
Because I think I made it clear
Quite recently, too.
That people don't ever change.

    When your feeling lost
    And you lose your love
And the whole wide world is against your soul
So you put on your masquerade
    To blame them all
    Despite the catastrophe

    The darkness consumes
  • Rant

The world is a cruel place
    I learned that long ago
    But why is that so?

    Do humans have cruelty
    Running through through their veins
Or is it burned in their heads
    With excruciating pain?

    They judge without thinking
