There is always something
to be said
after
something important
enough
that it has earned a spot
on the press
there is always 
an idea
that shall not be forgotten
given a little home
in the inked arms of the
parentheses
And if your like me
a pinshaped hole in the 
tub
I could run on for days
about the things that 
could
and should 
follow the words
anything can happen
in those bookends
I can pour the tasteful dregs
of my thought
into that milk bucket
and write you a novel
in the parentheses
