Clover:)

The first time I saw Clover was in a picture. Since we had been added to the past fosters list we got first pick on puppies. We fell in love immediatly with her chocolate fur, warm hazel puppy eyes, and marshmallow sprinkled belly. She was adorable! We volunteered to foster her, and drove an hour to her shelter. She was lying in bed with sister, Bree, and her mother. Mom and Dad were each handed one of the puppies to carry. Bree and Brianna were shaky and frightened, but also accepting of our warmth and love. They were so gentle. We brought Brianna for a walk in the dewy grass, then started our journey home. She whimpered in her crate in a pitiful, mourning way. We were in tears for her and her mothers loss of eachother. We stopped the car played with her, fed her, and seated her on Mom's lap for the remainder of the drive. She relaxed, and fell asleep, all she needed was a mother's touch. One week later after a particularly long walk we took as a family our parents announced we were going to adopt her! We spent two weeks choosing her name, finally deciding on Clover. Today she is playful, cuddly, and naps often. She is calm, and peaceful, and we love her very much:)

  • Why?

I witness injustices often now. How come when we learned about the thirteenth ammendment they just "forgot" to mention how it turned the prison system into slavery?
