There isn't a state that starts with 'B'

There isn’t a state that starts with B,
If you can name one, I will be,
Skeptical, like a bee
Whose flowers have been stolen, see;
Across the ocean, or the sea,
Though there are many that start with C,
There’s nary a state that starts with B.
