It was cold at the airport that morning, but I knew I would be in Florida soon enough.I was beyond excited. We boarded the plane and I got the window seat. I remember looking down at the world, then looking to my left and seeing my world. His head was rested on my shoulder and he was snoring lightly. I didn't mind though. He looked so peaceful and happy...a smile instantly formed on my face. I'm in love with this boy. Hours later we land in Florida. The second I leave the plane, I'm hit with a wave of heat and humidity. I loved it. I had never been to Florida before, so this was completely new to me. He grabbed my hand and off we went. We checked into the hotel and threw our stuff on the bed. We changed into more comfortable clothes and left to explore the city. We walked around for hours, holding hands. He pointed out his favorite places in the city and I said the same thing every time, "Oh, cool!". It's not that I wasn't interested in what he had to say, it's that I was more inerested to see the look on his face when he described the memories. The night grew dark, but we didn't care. Now the buildings were all lit up. It was truly beautiful. My feet were killing me, but I pushed through it. We went to a 24 hour Ihop and I ate the most pancakes I had ever had. I haven't had a pancake since! After we ate, we checked the time and it was 11pm. We had been walking around the city for almost 8 hours. The time flew when I was with him though. We decided to head back to the hotel and get some rest. Sleeping that night was amazing. I was in a new state with the love of my life. We had a week to explore and have all the fun in the world. We ended up going to Univeral Studios and many other similar places. It truly was a magical time.

Gigi, thanks so much for sharing this. The things about your story that stand out are the specific detail, "his head was rested on my shoulder and he was snorting lightly. I didn't mind though. I'm in love with this boy." ... "hit with a wave of heat and humidity." ...

so keep in mind that as a reader I want the specifics, I want to know what the hotels looked like, something specific about A building that stood out, how many pancakes, what one thing stood out about Universal Studios...

    Thanks so much for sharing.
