Dino

The dogs whine and bark

staring out the window

growling at the shadows

howling at the full moon

as they reveal their wolven selves

'great protectors'

shouting death-threats at the empty street

the sad little rug

is tired of being stepped on

and wants to fight back

Gentle blade of grass,

 glistening with silver pearls

bows, speckled with dew

The sharp ringing

of birds singing 

that settles the fields

on storms bringing

the clouds hover

and the critters take cover

and with silence brings

the smell of spring's

showers

They say that we are not alone in this world.

And this might be true,

but they also say that the Earth is flat.

I'd say it's all gibberish.

but 'truth' in itself is a common misconception.

When the night

threatens to mare

and I cant sleep, I may

grab a book

and start reading,

it's true, 

then I say

"That book is real good."

as I turn off the light

and pray...
