Camp Memories
When packing up to go home
Don’t forget to pack your memories
If you lose them
The way that you remembered them is forever gone
Keep them safe -
I Wish
I wish I was air
Wrapping people in a hug
No problems to fear
I wish I was earth
A place to run, jump and play
with places to stay
I wish I was fire
Warming those who need it most -
4 Walls
4 walls
that trap me inside a place I'm content.
My own sanctuary is a jungle
though the vines you can't swing on
and the floor is just as messy but without the mud. -
Shatter
I went into high school with my fist held high to the world
Screaming “I'm ready, show me your best punches”
I left freshman year with my fists broken and bleeding,
The chunks of my heart shattered around the trees -
More than pure happiness
Yells started to fade as the wind controlled the echoes bellowing through my ears
as the deer leaped and stumbled in front of my nose.
Reality died as the soft, oak-colored fur danced in front of my eyes, -
A Picture of Blue and White
I lay
cold and bitter in the snow
as the wind slowly trickles
from my head down to my toes
As my body is tense
And my arms are crossed
