They twinkle, like the bright, wide eyes of a curious child, or the worn faded ones of a wise, all-knowing elder.

They dance, to a beautiful, delicate song, that can only be heard by the heavens.

Stuck in an alternate reality. One where time stops moving and I easily drift off into thought. A world where there are no other people.

Some people come

from high in the sky;

float down on clouds, 

but soon say goodbye.

some people come

from down in the dirt; 

working there way up,

and no one feels hurt. 

“Ouch!” I landed at the bottom of the hill. My leg was throbbing! I must of hit on a rock on the way down. I looked up the hill, and there they were, sticking their tongues out at me, laughing to themselves. I turned to see what was behind me.
