And dark as the dead coals in the grate 

love is a funny thing, 
it likes to fly out of our reach 
until we give up all hope 
and then find us again when we've forgotten it
it's strange 
in the way that it comes around 

Some people think it's weird 
or just don't approve of it.
Others embrace it with open arms, 
happily accepting the wonderful quirkiness of it.
Some are scared of it, 
when it's part of them. 

I'm so confused.

every word a million meanings
every glance confusing as hell
