The sky is falling

In my mind

I stay up late finishing work that would be better done in the morning. 

Sitting at my desk,

the moon makes its way through the sky, 

When the rain clouds roll in,  

I don't need a jacket. 

I'll dance in the rain, 

be the first to see the 

rainbow come again.

Who you hate liking

Likes your best friend

Who is better

In so many ways

She's pretty

Listen to the soft pattern 

of rain drops falling onto the window pane 

creating streams of water 

that all end in a small puddle beneath the sill. 

Feel the softness of a blanket 

Today I am afraid 
For today my life 
Lies in the hands of people 
Who see me as a monster 
A destroyer
