I'm chasing that feeling 
I lost so long ago 
The feeling when the sun would set 
And a smile would appear on my face

Today felt the same as yesterday.   
Nothing changed 
But there was a silence 
That echoed in the voices 
I heard.

I got up, brushed my teeth,  

I've had the same dream 
Again and again 
Night after night 
And I spend day after day 
Thinking about what it means 

I'm standing in front of that building 

Nothing lives here anymore

We all grew up 
And went our own ways 
And nothing is left to prove we 
Ever were there 

Your bike was given to your little brother

You see the stars at night
Painted on that black Texas sky
