The Mountains

The Mountains, all jagged and steep.

Take a wrong step and fall into the deep.

The Mountains, all covered in snow.

When you ski down, you know.

The Mountains, a harsh place to live.

Up in the morning

When you wake up 

How do you feel?

Think about it.

When I wake up,

I push my covers

aside , And feel like I’m

 in a landslide.

Why?

Once there was a boy who was living in a ghastly labyrinth. His name was Aaron, and he hated his house because it was so dark.

Red

Red is the sunset over the mountain,

Red is an apple all juicy and ripe,

Red is your cheeks when you come inside after a cold day,

But red to its core is just a color.
