I ran faster than I ever had. So fast I didn't realize I had stopped. I was in Crow's arms.

"Feed us stupid girl. Feed us." The crows hissed.

"No." I told them

"Feed us stupid girl. Feed us!" The crows growled, louder they got larger and hungrier every second.

Crow and I went far today

To the very edge of the forest

and I showed him my magic

this is why I am in love with Crow

he was intrigued by my gifts

and he wasn't afraid of my powers like the rest

"Caw caw. Stupid girl, we're hungry, feed us." The crows demand.

"Not now, I'm tired and need to practice my magic." I lay motionless on the dewy grass.

every single bird except for crows

lately all I've seen and known are crows

I haven't seen a sparrow in years

they might be extinct

crow and I went down to the streams to collect stones for skipping
