Woke up tired
Woke up tired at half past four,
fell out of bed and right through the door,
went to the kitchen for food or a drink,
ate some spaghetti and talked to the sink.
Flew back upstairs to get dressed for a place -
Another ray of Sunshine
You think that was the ending
To my sunny disposition?
I'm a freaking beaming smile.
Any doubt will need revision.
I'm the wisdom that your lacking.
I'm the voltage charged up high.
I swear I'm in the lead, -
Dear Leaflings
In the middleton year between summer and spring
and right before winter says hi
Autumn begins, with the leafs and the wind
And the colors are pretty and bright.
Pack all your bags
Says the Oak to the Birch -
Inaccurate valid Error
Your opinions aren't invalid.
in fact I think they are too valid,
So blatantly true that half the world might plug their ears,
Afraid of the truth.
And your statements aren't incorrect,
Just the opposite I feel, -
A ray of sunshine
I'm a freaking ray of sunshine,
I'm a ball of sassy light,
I'm the thunder and the lightning
and the blackness of the night.
I'm the whispers in your nightmares,
and the smiles in your life.
I'm a hollering hyena -
3 Am
Sitting on my bed at night. Again.
Waiting for a star. Another one.
I have something to tell you
I will whisper from afar.
I'd like to be up there with you,
and dance upon the moon,
leaving footprints everywhere
Loves
-
if it hadn't have been for you
I wait in the dark,
with the clouds poking through the atmosphere.
I look to the stars
begging for their help.
They shoot dust in my eyes;
which brings the tears
I watch the moon as it's turning
-
Why did I go?
Rain falls from the sky,
Yet my feet are cemented on the ground.
And the water beads on my face,
Turning my hair wet when I wish it were dry.
But somehow I don't care.

The Smell of Fall
I want to smell the fall in the air
As we look up in the sky
Full of stars all different yet alike
I want the breeze to echo your name
As it floats along the wind -
Forever
Three years ago,
You said forever.
And I repeated it,
It left a sweet taste in my mouth.
Like sugar poured onto a lemon,
Covering up the sour bitterness. -
Parallel to the Sky
Slender limbs fan out,
Parallel to the sky
Instead of reaching,
Wanting to be the open blue,
Accepting that
Though the tree will never
-
Keeping Up
The world has evolved
From eternities of small change
To rapid movements
Clement days
Then
Brisk winds
Blowing ideas, seasons into the next
One moment, solidarity
Dissent, unity
