Hi! I recently started working on a poetry book and would love tips from anyone who is/has worked on one, specifically on how to write a lot of poems on the same topic without making it too repetitive.

I have written a poetry book with my friend but we didn't write a lot about the same subject. First off, I would think about things like if your subject could be looked at from a lot of different angles, different perspectives, or different times of year/day/month/other. Example: if the subject was a lake, you could write about it from the POV of a fish and a human; and what it looks like at sunrise/sunset/noon. Hope this helps!
