I have a plan

I’m running so fast

going nowhere

just going

forever

I won’t stop to catch my breath

I won’t stop for life or death

I’ll keep going

I know

pitiful laughs and lies

and joys and cries

and love and skies

that are most breathtakingly

blue

I know

the good and sad

the ugly and bad

the boiling mad

If I were 

a bird for an hour,  

what fate 

might await 

me? 

Would I go so high, 

be one with the sky 

or 

would I be slain
