And Earth Screamed

We must change or She shall die,

Our selfishness causes Her to cry.

Whispering wind in my ear,

Her desperate cry for me to hear.

We are takers, not givers;

Killed Her kids; polluted Her rivers.

Noise caused by a coming storm,

Her wiping Earth to its prior form.

We ruined Her precious space,

Left nothing perfect; it’s all in waste

In Her final breath, Earth screams:

Don’t ruin me for your filthy dreams
