Artificial Intelligence

movie theme for many, for some, a nightmare that has come to life.

Ready to do any job for you, or take it, and bring strife.

The uprising of humanity, and the downfall we shall see.

In the future, or the present, the question is, “Who will they be?”

From their hearts to their minds, they are… ‘intelligent’, but not truly alive.

In code and programming they are here, are not humans or creatures of Earth, and yet seem to survive.

Can you tell the difference between reality and machine?

If not, I don't blame you. In this world we live in, the truth is unseen.

An intelligence in question, what really is this mess?

Like, not having any empathy of humans, or remorse, or emotions at all. But people still think these hunks of broken metal parts are a wonder, nonetheless.

In stories they say they could take over the world.

Not that I believe them, but A.I’s hearts are still knurled.

The form that they take, can be any shape or mood or character at all.

Every person’s identity could be taken, for these fake us, which is sick minded taking away people’s self overall.

Let the machines with coded minds and no hearts fight in war? Are you crazy?

Letting them do that is wrong, but if we do that, our future is hazy.

Is this a good idea? Giving code a mind of its own?

Giving them minds and hearts and their very own control?

Everyone doesn’t see that we could be in danger.

Not because of real life predators, but metal. In my opinion, that's much stranger.

Can we outrun our unknown future ahead?

Either our species survives, or we don’t instead.

*So just take a moment to think on this issue that’s present, that’s real.

*With these codes and these dangers, we've made a bad deal.

Each first letter of each sentence in the poem spells out, "Artificial Intelligence". I hope you like it! (Btw sorry if it's too deep, I write like that a lot, and sometimes a scare myself, lol.)
