The wind whispers
Its mistakes
And it falls
From the heavens
Heavy like rain
With the whispers of all
The secrets of those
Who scream or whisper or speak
To the wind
Like it is their only friend
Who doesn’t pull or push or prod
Who only listens;
Because perhaps it is.
The clouds rise
Light like hot air
Buoyant like the thoughts of the children who stare
Who’s minds look and try to see
A dragon, a leprechaun or even a bee
And although the adults
Standing nearby
Laugh like they understand
But no-one else can
Except that child
Who stares and sees like no adult
Who sees what they believe and what is beautiful.
The clouds rise
with fairy dust
The wind falls
with secrets
But together, they could have it all.
The ocean boils
From the sun’s fiery glare
It bows its head
Looks away
But the sun does not
It boils with the gazes of those
Who look with scorn
And don’t look away;
With the stares of the ones
Who don’t try to hurt
But do anyway
It is the victim:
yet it is the one who boils.
The wind falls
The ocean boils
The clouds rise
But together they could dissuade the lies.
The lies of the fire
Burning bright
The fire burns
When the red is flames
Of scorching yells
And whispers
Behind a back of the one too innocent
And the black is ashes
Of who they once were
The lies that stole
The image inside their mind
Of the clouds and the wind and the ocean;
Because now, they are no longer in harmony.
And the truth they believed
is gone.
The fire burns
The wind falls
The clouds rise
The ocean boils
But together they could all be loyal.
Loyal to the world
Who showed them their place
Before the weight of
Burning
Falling
Rising
Boiling
Became a life
forever lonely
Watching as the sun sets in the world
That is turning
No matter if
A heart explodes
Or the wind falls
Or glass shatters
Or friendship is thrown to the wind
Like scraps of paper
And the wind falls again
Meeting the clouds
Hitting with sparks
And the fire burns
Away any sins
Turning to sun
That boils the ocean
And boils away the mistakes of our past
The steam rids us all of the thoughts we once had
Lowers us down
Till we are all one
And together,
We are
everything.
