To be a girl
Is to constantly live
With the knowledge
That people think
You are worth nothing
To be a girl
Is to be on guard
At every second
And never ever
Let it down
To be a girl
Is to be underestimated
Because of your gender
Your looks
The stereotype
That has followed you
Like a shadow your whole life
To be a girl
Is to think
About how people
Might perceive you
And if they'll accept you
Because your not perfect
To be a girl
Is to have flaws
That you spend
Hours hiding
With makeup
With clothes
With your smile
To be a girl
Is to be everything
A man is
Better then a man
But have people
Constantly putting you down
And trying to stop you
To be a girl
Is one of the most difficult tasks
And yet there are 4.06 billion
Of us

This offered such a broad review of your experiences as a girl, all of which are as relevant today as they were a hundred years ago, and nearly always universal among our sex. I stand with you in solidarity against the patriarchy, and the stereotypes and injustices it produces.
Thank you!
