It's been three years now
Yet we've traveled thousands of miles along this road together
We're two travelers on one path
Not even the journey through cancer could separate us
Even though that journey was painful
We reached the top stronger than before
Through all the days
You were in the hospital
Through all the days
I'd stop by your house to check on you
We faced the climb with resilience
And continued on our way through the summits
Without you, I'd be at rock bottom
You came into my life
And helped me reach the top
Now you're my best friend
Though there will be many more mountains to come
That will never change
No matter how many mountains will stand in our way
You'll always be my best friend till the end of our journey.
