Changing

my life is changing
people are 
finding themselves
in the darkness
of being young

they are
pulling themselves out
and finding their
true feelings

i am a little
afraid
to pull myself out
and maybe find
an awful person

so i stay
the way i am
not different
than others
in a lot of ways

i will not be 
pulling myself out
for a while
